Sherrie Brown "Samantha: Time Travel" An Interview with Sherrie Brown by Jason E. Foss

                                                                                 SHERRIE BROWN

"When you are an Author, a Music Artist, or any kind of Creative Professional you realize you are much more than that.  You are also a promoter.  If you have a dream you need to understand that you have what it takes.  It doesn't matter if you make it BIG all that matters is that you START.  And after you start all that matters NEXT is that you NEVER GIVE UP!  Sherrie Brown is a talented Author that supported my business startup.  She also gives great advice! This blog is about the 'Business Behind The Book".  Find out ways to help others and don't be afraid to ask for help.  Support is a two way street.  My purpose for this blog is to create a 'Brick Of Friends' that support each other and promote each other.  Also, we find out what our supporters do and support them too.  Sherrie Brown the Author of Samantha: Time Travel was more than willing to let us know some of her experiences.  Here is what she shared with us."

                                                                                                           Jason E. Foss

Jason:                 "What was your most memorable moment or greatest accomplishment so far as an Author?"

Sherrie:

"My most memorable moments are when readers tell me they enjoy my book."

"My greatest accomplishment so far is being featured in the February print issue of WomELLE  Magazine."

Jason:                      "What advice would you give to those trying to chase their dreams and be successful?"

Sherrie:

"Don’t dare to dream, dare to do."

"Don’t listen to anyone who is negative or tries to discourage you from writing. However, you need to be willing to accept help and understand that you will make mistakes."

Jason:                            "Out of Sales, Motivation, Marketing, and Advice which ones could you use some extra help in?"

Sherrie:

"Sales and Marketing go hand in hand. When you have good marketing the sales will come. I love talking about my books but hate asking people to buy them."

Jason:                             "If you had to choose someone you know, that has a lot of talent and Passion who would that person be and what is their Passion or Talent?"

Sherrie:

"One of my best friends, Eric Pugliese. He is a talented bass guitarist in Florida. He loves to play and frequently reminds me, he has a day job to pay the bills so he can do what he loves on the weekends, play music."

Jason:                            "What is the main reason you are a strong supporter of my new business?"

Sherrie:

"You go out of your way to help others and you are great at what you do. I would love to see you succeed in all you do."

                                                                              CLOSING

Sherrie Brown inspires us when she tells us the quote "Don't dare to dream, dare to do."  If you wrote a book that you believe in one of the hardest things to do is ask people to buy it.  One of my favorite motivators Les Brown always says "If you do what is EASY your life will be HARD....  but if you do what is HARD.... your life will be EASY!!   So do what is HARD! Ask for help.  Ask people to buy your book.  Actually ask everyone that you come in contact with.  Because here is the reality.  If you see 10 people and you don't let anyone know how much you would love for them to buy your book no one will buy.  It's not that they are not supportive they simply don't know how important their support would mean to you and they are too busy with every day life to try and read our minds.  But if you are willing to be uncomfortable and ask 10 people to buy your book there is a chance that you may hear a YES!  Click on the link above and buy "Samantha: Time Travel".  Also, let us know how we can support you.  Even if you are an artist or any kind of Creative professional try these two things for a full month.  Find out how you can support the person you are speaking to and ask them to support you.  The more you get out of your comfort zone the easier it will get and the more supporters you will build along the way.
